Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the teenager age. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd became more confident after this win and won 3 bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated in the 1st round. Ladd returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen in a unanimous vote. It left a blemish on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd bounced back from defeat by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first bout as a bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen utilized her formidable grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen continued to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however, Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina through her ground and pound techniques which resulted in a TKO 2nd round win. She maintained her dominance as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd beat Evinger within the first few seconds and was awarded a prize for her performance during the night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first fight she's ever had in any significant way. Both the fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and each fighter receiving an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. Following a brief break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a match that was a replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
