Sharon Yvonne Stone is the only child of Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former employee in a manufacturing plant. Her birth date was 10 March 1958, at Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. She is one of the three siblings. Stone was considered to be exceptionally gifted in her academics when she entered the second grades at five. Saegertown School situated in Saegertown Pennsylvania was her high school. Stone graduated in 1975. In addition, she competed in winning in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone moved together with her aunt from New Jersey, where she was interested in pursuing a modeling career. The following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. Her next move was to Europe where she spent one year living within Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was disillusioned by the fashion industry in Europe, and chose to concentrate on acting. At 20, she appeared in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories," with mixed receptions.
