Aura Garcia Sanchez is a Spanish actress who has appeared who has appeared in Spanish film and on television. She has acted in Stockholm and also in the TV shows El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid born in 1989. Garrido's father Tomas Garrido is a composer and conductor of orchestras, while her mother, Pilar Sanchez, works as a painter. She began her piano classes when she was just four years old. She shortly after that, she began to study ballet. As a child the way she spoke English was heavily influenced by a best friend of English. After finishing her high school studies her, she attended the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico in Madrid. She studied the art of interpretation for three years specialising in textual translation. But she quit in 2010, when she was offered an acting role in Planes para manana. In this film, her performance brought her the Silver Biznaga and nominations for Goya Awards, including the best new actress.
