
Colson Baker (born April 22, 1990) is an American rapper and singer. He is also well-known as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), a songwriter, actor as well as a performer. Before signing with Bad Boy Records, Machine Gun Kelly (born on April 22nd the 22nd of April, 1990) is famous for his blend of alternative rock and hip hop. The debut album Lace Up (2012 which peaked at 4th place on the US Billboard 200), included his smash single "Wild Boy" with Waka Flocka Flam. His third and second albums, General Admission (2015) and Bloom (2017) both had similarly successful commercial success. The album also featured the hit single "Bad Things" (with Camila Cabello) that peaked at the top of the charts, #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The fourth album, Hotel Diablo, was an rap-rock album. In 2020, Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album entitled Tickets to My Downfall (2020) was released. It marked a break from hip-hop and a move into pop punk. It ranked first on the Billboard 200 and was the only rock album that reached the same rank. The song "My Ex's Best Friend" was also able to climb to number 20 on the Hot 100. The album's sequel, Mainstream Sellout (1922) was a commercial success. Machine Gun Kelly has been featured in the film thriller based on a techno theme Nerve (2016) as well as the horror Bird Box (2018). He also starred in the comedy Big Time Adolescence.
